Balanced Body and Mind
What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is the act of guiding someone into a trance state, it’s a state that each person enters daily, for example just before you fall asleep you will be in a hypnotic state. The only difference being that someone is inducing the trance to achieve something.
What Hypnosis is not?
The idea that someone can put you into a hypnotic state and can take control over your mind. In the trance state you are in complete control over your body and actions, you can hear everything and you can not be forced into doing anything you don’t want to.
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is using hypnosis for therapeutic purposes, accessing the subconscious mind to help with issues such as pain relief, anxiety, depression, addiction, weight management, eating disorders, panic attacks, PTSD, phobias to name just a few…
How does Hypnotherapy work?
Many challenges people have relate back to an original trigger point, by talking and looking back on past events, the hypnotherapy can be tailored to each initial person. During the relaxed hypnosis, we can search the subconscious mind for the repressed memories and emotions locked away, in a safe relaxing way.
Then the hypnotherapist will guide you through hypnosis to then change the emotions, feelings attached to the trigger point so it loses its power over your life.
