NLP is all about understanding how the mind interprets what messages we receive. This starts by looking at how we receive the information as everyone is different. People are generally a mix of visual, audio or kinesthetic, when we understand how we take in information (what language we use) this is helpful when changing behaviours and thoughts to different situations and challenges.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – CBT
From an early age, we pick up behaviours, habits and beliefs that can reduce the quality of our lives. These beliefs can sometimes be hard to break down, as the subconscious mind is in control so keeps old thought patterns without our conscious mind being aware of what is happening.
By talking through problems and challenges, we can route back to the original beliefs, which are dictating our thoughts and behaviours and re-write a preferred more positive belief.
Resulting in a positive reaction, behaviour to certain situations that may have held you back in the past. CBT is now being recognised by the NHS as it’s a great tool to alter mindsets, in such challenges as habits, anxiety, depression and lots more. CBT goes hand in hand with hypnotherapy to tap into the subconscious mind to make a positive change.
